You have successfully installed and configured MODx Revolution and installed this demo package!. This demo pack is intended to give new users a starting point in MODx Revolution development and to demonstrate the flexibilty and adaptability of MODx Revolution. The site layers a subset of the Evolution demo site design on top of the Revolution component set and an adapted 'Clarity' template. Feel free to play with this site as you see fit.
- Comments. When logged into your site, you''ll be able to create site comments from the front end. Based on the Quip component this can also be turned into a News publishing or Blog publishing system in combination with other MODx Revolution components. Comments
- RSS Feeds. Your site visitors can stay up to date using your site feeds. This uses the ubiquitous Ditto component.View RSS feed
- Automatic User Registration. Those that wish to login to the site must first create an account. This uses the Register snippet, part of the Login component. View registration form
- Powerful Navigation Builder. Duplicate or build virtually any navigation system with our dynamic menu builder code known as Wayfinder The page menu above, for example was constructed using Wayfinder. More about menu features
- Custom "page not found (404)" page. Help visitors who go astray to find what they''re looking for. View 404 page
- Contact Us form. A highly configurable contact form using the Formit component you should customize to point to the right email address. Contact Us
- Most Recent and Login. Look at the sidebar for examples of these features. The login processor uses the Login component, and the Most Recent is generated by using the all powerful getResources component.
